After their successful venture with the smash hit Pokemon Go, Ninatic has
announced a partnership with Nintendo. The collaboration will be on the Pikmin
franchise, it will be their collaboration on the franchise which will be mobile
reality augmented game.

There are not much details in about the game right now but Ninatic’s say “the
app will include gameplay activities to encourage walking and make walking more
delightful.? The app will be launched later this year. The AR version will be
developed my Ninatic’s Tokyo Studio.

Ninatic’s Announcement TweetNintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto said in a statement
“Niantic?s AR technology has made it possible for us to experience the world as
if Pikmin are secretly living all around us.Based on the theme of making walking
fun, our mission is to provide people a new experience that?s different from
traditional games. We hope that the Pikmin and this app will become a partner in
your life.?

Though there aren’t any more updates if this collaboration will be bringing in
new games but let’s hope best for in the future as this looks like a long term
collaboration. ?We?re honored that Nintendo has chosen Niantic to be its
publisher of real-world AR applications,? Niantic said. More details about
upcoming apps will be revealed ?in the coming months.?

Pikmin franchise is an exploring game in Earth-like planet with little adorable
creatures called Pikmin. The latest game was an updated to 2013 Pikmin version
for the Wii U.

Ninatic’s is best known for it’s game called Pokemon Go which is near close to
augmented reality, even though due to Covid-19 it had to make certain changes,
it did not stop the game from surpassing and generating $1billion hand over fis,
making it the biggest game of 2020.
