Last Friday, Facebook owned major social networking sites: Instagram, Whatsapp
and Messenger were down due to some unforeseen reason. ?Many users trying to
access these social networking sites faced major hurdles ?as they were served
with a 5xx server error. Around 100,000 users reported on DownDectetor of the
issues with Instragram, 24,000 with Whatsapp and 5,000 with Messenger.

The error page of Instagram during Friday’s outrageFacebook has resolved the
technical issue and released a statement on The Telegraph with Margi Murphy.
“Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have trouble accessing some
Facebook services,” Facebook said. “We resolved this issue for everyone, and we
apologize for any inconvenience.”

Instagram announced with a tweet of their own once they were back on track:

outrage. Back in December there were major blips on Messenger and Instagram Dms
and also on Thanksgiving 2019.
