Truly wireless earbuds have changed the audio industry and consumers are
gravitating towards eliminating wires for a hassle-free audio experience. It was
only recently that we sawXiaomi [https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/xiaomi] launch its first truly wireless earbuds in India, the Mi True Wireless Earphones
2 in India. Now,Huawei [https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/huawei]has
announced the launch of the Huawei Freebuds 3 in India that comes with support
for Active Noise Cancellation, at a price of INR 12,990.

last year at IFA 2019 where it also announced its Kirin 990 SoC and the Kirin A1
chip ? the latter of which is also present in the Freebuds 3.

Although the Freebuds 3 have a design that?s derivative of the iconicApple
AirPods, the Freebuds 3 come with support for active noise cancellation that?s
pretty unheard of for earbuds in this price segment. To ensure better call
quality, there?s a bone sensor present too that?s said to pick up voice through
bone vibrations.

The earbuds make use of massive 14.2mm dynamic drivers in each bud and claim to
deliver powerful bass. The Kirin A1 chip ? a chip that?s dedicated for wearables
? brings isochronous dual-channel transmission that lets each bud directly
establish a connection with the device and bring down the audio lag to 190ms.

The earbuds have support for Bluetooth 5.0 and BLE 5.1 that give the bud a
claimed 150-metre range. As far as controls are concerned, the Freebuds 3 has
support for tap-based controls that will let users control media playback and
switch ANC on or off, amongst other actions. There?s also support for
ear-detection which means the audio will automatically pause when the earbuds
are removed from the ear.

The Freebuds 3 sits in a rather eccentric yet ergonomic circular case that has
support for wireless charging. In fact, Huawei even bundles a wireless charger
in the box so you can effortlessly charge the earbuds.

As far as the battery is concerned, the earbuds will last up to 4 hours with ANC
on. The case packs additional juice and takes the total listening time to about
20 hours. The Huawei Freebuds 3 are available in colourways of black, red and
white. They are up for pre-orders exclusively onAmazon [https://amzn.to/3buH3hN] .
